Grooming is by appointment only. We are a mobile grooming service, which means we bring the grooming van to you and your pet. Your pup or cat will be groomed - start to finish - right in your own driveway! This greatly reduces your pet's stress by not being stuck in a cage for hours in a salon, just waiting to be groomed.

*Haircut options may be confirmed after the condition of the coat is assessed. Note: Heavily-matted dogs, or dogs packed with undercoat, may require a shave if the coat cannot be saved. This is for the health and safety of the dog, and only done when necessary.

Our sanitation protocols:
Tools are maintained on a timely schedule.
Tools and grooming stations are sanitized after every pet.
Veterinary-approved cleaning products that kill bacteria and viruses are used.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, groomers wear face masks during interaction with our pet parents.
We ask all clients to have their pets assessed by a veterinarian, should a skin condition arise or any other health issue that may be of a contagious nature.

Hi, my name is Jen! I’ve been grooming since 2007, and working with animals since 2005. Part of what makes Preppy Puppy Cuts unique is that we truly love what we do. I was certified as a pet groomer in 2007, in Miami, FL. I came back home to the Tampa Bay area and worked for many years at a grooming salon - sometimes in their mobile van, sometimes in their storefront. I loved working with the pets, but I never truly felt satisfied. There were things I wanted to change, perhaps make better, but I wasn't the owner, so I didn't have a vote in the business day-to-day operations . Now that I own my own business, I can assure you that your dog or cat will always have high-quality products and the best services we are happy to provide! Your pet will never be caged - they are groomed from start to finish with love and patience. I’ve found this method of grooming is best for pets as it's so much less stressful, and you build a great relationship with them in a one-on-one setting. Trust from the dog or cat is the upmost importance for a great grooming. The more the pet trusts us, the better we can make them look and feel! There will never be multiple people restraining your dog tightly, for any reason. The services completed are because your dog or cat willingly allowed us to do them - safely - without fear or any trauma. We take our #1 goal very seriously, which is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable during the grooming process.

November 17, 2019 Jen has been grooming our four Miniature Schnauzers every two weeks for almost a decade. Two have passed on, but they all loved/love her. We call her the Schnauzer Whisperer, because she's the only groomer who has been gentle enough not to hurt them when their fringe gets knots, and she doesn't get mad at me for not brushing them. LOL! We have a 5-month old puppy that Jen started grooming when she was just 9 weeks old, and Maisy gets so excited to spend time with Jen on every grooming day (so does Trooper, our 13-year old boy)! 💞 [And, yes, that's a mohawk Troopie is sporting - we asked Jen to do that for us years ago, and it just suits him so well, we have her keep it up!]
